How can homosexuals be ordained as pastors?
Excuse me?!? But how in the world could such a thing ever happen? Before I comment, read this excerpt from Northwest Christian Journal...
Episcopalians give stamp of approval to homosexual ordination

TACOMA- On Friday, Nov. 14, Western Washington Episcopalians approved of a resolution that supports ordination of homosexuals and declares homosexuality as 'morally neutral.' The vote took place at the annual convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia, held at the Tacoma Convention Center.
A similar resolution was voted on at the national convention but failed by just two votes. This year's vote at the Western Washington convention was 244 - 190. this same measure failed in 1995 and was tabled last year. Major points in the resolution include:
- That some are created hetero-sexual and some are created homo-sexual;
- Homosexual clergy are already serving in the Episcopal church effectively and with integrity;
- Homosexual relationships that are faithful and monogamous, 'committed, life-giving and holy are to be honored.'
Bob Davies, the North American director of Exodus International, a worldwide network of ex-gay ministries, said 'It is a modern tragedy when a Christian denomination affirms sexual practices which are clearly condemned by Scripture.'
The impact on the church is seen as far-reaching, according to Davies. 'I believe this overwhelming pro-gay vote is a frightening preview of the future. The national Episcopal church is holding to a traditional stance on homosexuality by the slimmest of margins. I predict that soon the entire Episcopal denomination will embrace homosexuality wholeheartedly.'
'One of our most prominent leaders, a lifelong Episcopalian, has recently left that denomination. He says the battle is already over in the Episcopal church- the 'pro-gay' viewpoint has won. It's only a matter of time until it's incorporated into official church doctrine,' said Davies
